Race-1 of the Pirelli Navarra Round, the seventh stage of the 2021 WorldSBK season, ends with the extraordinary victory of Scott Redding and the tenth place of Michael Rinaldi who manages to be incisive only in the final laps.
Here are the Saturday high lights of Navarre.
P2 – In FP3 Scott Redding confirms the good sensations of Friday and in Superpole he easily closes in second place behind Rea (Kawasaki)
P13 – For Michael Rinaldi it is a very difficult qualification. The Italian rider tries to gain confidence in the first run with the X tire but in the two time attacks with the “Q” he fails to be incisive.

P1 – The race of Scott Redding is flawless as is his start, perhaps the best so far in the season, which allows him to take the lead already at the first corner. Rea’s (Kawasaki) response comes a little later but Redding gives the feeling of having a better pace. On the sixth lap the English driver returns to the command of the race that dominates up to the checkered flag.
P10 – Forced to start from thirteenth position, Michael Rinaldi pushes to the maximum and on the tenth lap, despite a not exciting pace, he finds himself in ninth position. After a battle with Gerlof (Yamaha) and Nozane (Yamaha) the rider of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team closes his race in tenth place.
