The two riders of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team never managed to find the feeling to be able to stay in the high positions of the classification in qualifying and the same difficulties were repeated during the race.

After a very complex FP3 also due to the intense rain, Scott Redding and Michael Rinaldi managed to limit the damage in Superpole by closing respectively in sixth and eighth place even if with a significant delay from the front row.
