Microsoft announced that Xbox is the new sponsor of the teams of the England national football team.
The multi-year collaboration has been announced with a trailer, which you can view below, and is about the teams Three Lions (that of Harry Kane and associates to be clear), Lionesses (the women’s football team) and the FIFA eLions e-sports team, as well as Wembley Stadium.
The partnership between Xbox and the England Football Association (The FA) aims to emphasize the values of accessibility and inclusiveness of both sides and was announced under the motto “When Everybody Plays, We All Win”.
“At Xbox, we are committed to removing barriers and encouraging people to experience the joy of playing for themselves – millions of people around the world can find common ground and bond by playing video games, as they do in football.“says Marcos Waltenberg, Director of Global Xbox Partnerships.
