A new situation of massive poisoning due to air qualityThe day was lived this Monday in the Puchuncaví commune, Valparaíso region, affecting people who were in educational facilities.
About 30 people in the area were affected with symptoms associated with annoying odors, those who were perceived in three educational establishments in the city during the morning, which even led to the evacuation of a kindergarten.
Faced with this situation, the environment minister, Hernán Ramírez, commented that residents of the communities of La Greda and Ventanas smelt a strong smell of burning rubber.

The above, according to Ramírez, coincided with the fact that the environmental monitoring station measured an increase in total hydrocarbon concentrations.
According to the Health Seremi, Lorena Cofré, of the total number of people affected, 26 went to Cesfam Ventanas to receive medical attention for various ailments.
It should be noted that all those who attended Cesfam for these symptoms of intoxication were discharged on Monday afternoon.
