The police do say that the incident is comparable to that on April 25 at the same location. Then at the Zandstuve campsite on the Grote Beltenweg a child was the victim of a sexual incident in a toilet block of the campsite. The police then conducted a passer-by investigation to gain more clarity in the case. She wanted to know more about a suspicious man and enlisted the help of the public.
The police now report that trace investigations are being carried out on the spot and that a visitor investigation is being held. She calls on people who saw anything striking or suspicious in the area on Monday to report. Visual material is especially welcome, according to the police.
