Deputies Sergio Bobadilla, Gustavo Benavente and Felipe Donoso assured that the communist parliamentarian “body and soul represents the culture of cancellation and denial.”
The deputies of the UDI Bank, Sergio Bobadilla, Gustavo Benavente and Felipe Donoso, described as “ anti-democratic icon” to the deputy of the Communist Party (PC), Carmen Hertz.
The parliamentarians requested that the Ethics Commission apply “exemplary sanctions” against him, after he tried to “hound” the union legislators. The Deputy even silenced them on several occasions in the Chamber, at the beginning of the legislative session this Tuesday.

In this regard, through a statement, the UDI deputies assured that Carmen Hertz “does not it only represents body and soul the culture of cancellation and denial (…) It is the true icon of the anti-democratism that exists in our country.”
They added that “reaffirms to us the null capacity that he has -together with his party- to accept different political opinions”.
In that line, Bobadilla, Benavente and Donoso insisted that deputy PC “has a serious lack of objectivity, because she always ends up preferring to insult anyone who thinks differently from her.”
The union deputies described deputy Hertz’s questionable attitude as a “intellectual dictatorship”, making a comparison with what happened with the former director of the National Institute of Human Rights (INDH), Sergio Micco.
“We are not going to accept the insulting expressions made by Mrs. Hertz, who has no shame in speaking about Human Rights; but she is the first to hide when she has to publicly condemn the dictatorial regimes of Venezuela, Nicaragua or Cuba. That is why we are going to resort to the Ethics Commission, because we are not going to tolerate her attitude & # 8221 ;, closes the statement from the UDI Bank.
