According to a recent report, Apple it appears to be asking some of its employees to wear cameras to work to avoid any leaks that would be shared. These cameras would be similar to the ones American police wear.
If true, it would be a drastic choice by Apple, made precisely to prevent premature data leaks of its products, in particular on the next models of iPhone, iPad, AirPods and Mac. It is currently unclear which teams or employees will be asked to wear these devices, but the report says the rules don’t apply within Apple’s staff.
The report states that “Apple has taken this step to ensure its hardware trade secrets stay out of the hands of leakers“The cameras would only be implemented for specific teams and do not affect all Apple employees. A few months ago Apple had already sued a former employee who had divulged the company’s trade secrets in exchange for money.
Speaking of rumors and leaks: recently analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the next iPhone coming out in 2022 would be the cheapest ever.
