This Sunday, during their presentation in London, Backstreet Boys paid an emotional tribute to Aaron Carter, younger brother of one of the group’s founders, Nick Carter.
An emotional moment was experienced this Sunday at the presentation ofBackstreet Boysin London, one day after the death of Aaron Carter, brother of Nick Carter, one of the founders of the famous American boyband, was confirmed.
“Tonight we have a little sadness in our hearts because yesterday we lost one of our family members,” Kevin Richardson commented into the microphone, while his teammates consoled Nick on stage.
Richardson’s intervention occurred just after the band sang “No Place”, while images of each member of the band with their family were played on the screen. At the end of the song, Nick and Aaron appeared at different ages in their lives, before transitioning to a full portrait of the latter with the caption “Aaron Carter 1987-2022”.

“We just wanted to find a moment in our show to acknowledge that Nick’s little brother, Aaron Carter, passed away yesterday at the age of 34. He was part of our family and we thank you for all the love, all the good wishes and all the support,” he added, while the displays of affection multiplied in the public.
Kevin Littrell, A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough, companions of Nick Carter at BSB for 29 years, could not hide their tears when they hugged each other in a sign of unity and support.
“We would like to dedicate this next song to our little brother Aaron Carter. We will miss you brother” Kevin commented before the quintet began singing “Breathe”.
