This was acknowledged in an interview with Radio Bío Bío by the new head of the Homicide Squad of the institution in Los Angeles, the sub-prefect Juan Luis Fonseca.
“Criminal analysis work is being done. Good results are being achieved. The investigations are long-term, but we have people trained in the analysis base that we need”, assured the sub-prefect.
PDI will reinforce teams for the new year
Given the indications that criminal organizations are expanding in the city, the PDI will reinforce its teams in view of the New Year celebrations.
The above, considering the eventual clandestine release of fireworks, which has been associated with violent acts between rival drug gangs that operate the city.
“There is concern (…) but as police we are committed at a national level in this situation, therefore, society should be calm that we are working all agencies involved”, said the head of the Homicide Squad.
