The jihadist group Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility this Sunday for the attack on a police patrol in northern Iraq, which left ten officers dead, as confirmed in a statement.
“Ten policemen were killed, including an officer, by an attack by caliphate soldiers in Kirkuk, where they attacked a rogue federal police patrol, in the village of Al Tarfaui”, detailed the statement from the terrorist organization.
