“That the President recognizes that after 11 times the State of Exception was renewed here in there are acts of a terrorist nature in the Araucanía region,” said the regional authority hours before the President arrived in the area.
After five regional tours and four abroad, President Gabriel Boric arrives this Thursday to La Araucanía.
So far it is known that he will arrive early and that he will stay until Friday.
What will he do? There are not so many details about that, since the agenda has been kept secret.

A few hours after he sets foot on Araucanian soil, Governor Luciano Rivas hopes that the President recognize that there is terrorism in the region.
“That the President recognize that after 11 times the State of Exception was renewed here in the region of La Araucanía there are acts of a terrorist nature” ;, he said.
In the area, the Arauco Malleco Coordinator (CAM) has already called to combat the Government’s militarization strategy.
Specifically, they pointed out that their trip “confirms the Government’s decision to consolidate a neo-fascist strategy to combat the Mapuche movement”.
The Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá, assured that the President’s agenda is not done based on threats from radical groups.
“When the President moves through the territory, he does not do it by virtue of threats, he does it by virtue of the role of head of state of him & # 8221 ;, he assured him.
