ALERT Acetic acid is corrosive and flammable

At the level of the commune ofselongey (Côte-d’Or), a rest area of the A31 motorway has been closed this Wednesday morning due to an acetic acid leak observed on a tanker truck. Around 5:30 a.m., an important device was deployed to secure the area; reports The Public Good. Acetic acid is indeed a corrosive and flammable product.
The firefighters have set up a safety perimeter. A company based in the Jura then went on site to ensure the transfer of the contents of the tank to another truck.
