Covid Cuba, today 5,613 cases: over 250 thousand infections

Cuba exceeds the threshold of 250 thousand infections from Covid, with 5,613 new cases registered in the last 24 hours alone, confirming the new increase in infections that has been occurring on the island for several days. There are 29 deaths, since it brings the number of deaths from Covid since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,608. The largest number of new infections, 1,468, occurred in Matanzas, followed by Havana with 691. The health authorities say that at the moment there are over 36 thousand positive people, with 94 in conditions defined as critical and 119 in a serious state.
