Unlike on consoles, Steam users are having trouble enjoying the time loop.
Deathloop has been one of the most important releases of September, something that has been hard earned through a most curious proposal, as well as a good number of trailers and gameplays that clarified the plot of the game. Because when we talk about time loops, it’s easy to get messed up. However, Arkane has managed to rise above all this and has left a good taste in the mouths of the players. Or so it seemed, since PC users are harshly criticizing Deathloop due to its significant one-off drops in FPS, which sometimes completely destroy the gaming experience.
We are actively investigating the issue as a priorityDeathloop Community ManagerBecause of this, it appears that Bethesda has been campaigning for fix Deathloop performance bugs on PC, as confirmed by one of the Community Managers of the title through a post On Reddit: “Performance wise, we are aware of complaints that various PC users are experiencing stuttering issues on Deathloop. We are actively investigating the issue as a priority, and will update you with more specific information as soon as possible.”
Hence, it is probable that Deathloop get a patch soon to fix the FPS drop suffered by PC users, who have exposed their criticism on the platform through a negative review of the game on Steam. Secondly, according to VGC, rumors circulate that the cause of this performance is Denuvo, an anti-piracy tool that has earned the hatred of many players due to the problems that it entails in the gaming experience of other titles.
