The electric SUV Ford Mustang Mach-E got a Guinness World Record, like the electric car with the lowest energy consumption. The record was achieved between John O’Groats is Land’s End in Great Britain, with the SUV that has traveled for over 10.5 km per kilowatt hour (kWh).

The Ford Mustang Mach-E (in the extended range rear-wheel drive version) was awarded for the lower energy consumption for an electric car, data verified by an independent body showed the Mustang Mach-E has traveled more than that 10.5 km per kilowatt hour (kWh).
Ford Mustang Mach-E is the electric car with the lowest energy consumption
With a 88 kWh, the efficiency achieved is far beyond 805 km of autonomy, adding more than 195 km to the official one declared by Ford (610 km) and tripling the target set by the Guinness World Records for this new record for electric vehicles.

Electric car consumption on the journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End
The record was set in Great Britain, on the journey of 1,350 km from John O’Groats until Land’s End equivalent to almost a climb on the Mount Everest. In the record attempt they became necessary only two charging stops in Wigan in North West England and Cullompton in Devon.
