The engineer, who did not attend the latest debates, has found other places and spaces to campaign, present his proposals or give his controversial opinions. Streaming broadcasts, interviews on different radio networks, appearances with influencers and now even on airplanes.

Despite the fact that the other presidential candidates have been confronting each other in the debates, for Hernández it is not an appropriate space, mainly because what is being said in those spaces, according to him, has already been said.

“The aggressiveness of the other campaigns, seeing how more Colombians support me every day, has made me think about what makes them desperate and act like that. The priority in Colombia cannot be this show of candidates destroying each other to win votes: the priority must be for people to improve their lives, to get out of poverty, to study, to have health answers, to start a business, to have low-cost microcredits. cost to not depend on drip. While the other candidates fight, I ask myself, is this the most important thing, the most urgent? (…) That is why I am dialoguing with those who are not part of the politicking and have everything to contribute to the country. For all these reasons, I have made the decision not to attend the debate this Thursday the 26th, as a call to the other candidates not to contribute to that show of egos and attacks such as the debate last Monday.”
