Injuries are witnessing a new rise, and deaths are increasing at a slower rate, according to the agency’s census, which is based on official figures until Thursday morning.
More than 600,000 daily cases were recorded at an average rate in the last seven days in the world, an increase of 68 percent compared to its lowest level in mid-June (360,000 injuries per day).
This increase is due to the spread of the highly contagious “delta” mutant, which was first detected in India.
