Latam canceled 367 flights due to the suspension of operations at Lima airport Lima, after the fatal accident on one of the tracks. Two firefighters died during the emergency.
Grupo Latam reported that since the start of the emergency due to the collision of a plane at the Lima airport on Friday, it has cancelled a total of 367 flights.
As a result of the emergency, two rescue firefighters died at the scene.
Hours after the accident, the Lima airport confirmed the suspension of operations until noon this Saturday, however, said measure was extended.

As a result of the above, Latam indicated that so far it has canceled 261 scheduled flights, while the total number of flights that have not taken place is 376.
Through In a statement, Latam reinforced travel flexibilities for passengers who have flights to, from and connecting through the Jorge Chávez International Airport:
-Those who have canceled or scheduled flights, can request a ticket change up to one year from the date of ticket purchase, without having to make an additional payment. They can also ask for the money back.
-Passengers who have flights between November 18 and 23 can request the change at no cost up to 15 days from the original date of the flight, or the money back.
Latam has processed 15,000 rescheduling requests, so call to carry out the process through the My Trips section on the company’s website.
