The heating engineers’ strike, which began on 2 November at Lyon to demand an increase in wages and staff, ended on Tuesday after the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the city, announced. the municipality. “The heating should therefore be restored in municipal establishments,” said the town hall in a press release.
The strike movement of the heating engineers, led by by the CGT, had delayed the commissioning of the heating of the buildings of the city, in particular in the primary schools and the nurseries of the city, pushing the city of Lyon to; requisition agents to restore heating on November 8.

No salary increase
