A man of Haitian origin died in a care center of Talca product of multiple puncture wounds. The PDI Homicide Brigade carries out the respective procedures to clarify the fact.
A new homicide, the sixth in less than a month, keeps the inhabitants of Talca, in the Maule region, shocked.
This day, a 34-year-old man of Haitian origin died from multiple stab wounds. His death was verified in the SAR Las Américas, in the northern sector of the capital of Maule.
According to Captain Danilo Silva, of the Fourth Police Station of Talca, & #8220;we maintain the sensitive death of a victim, who would have died as a result of injuries caused by a third party”, he explained.

According to the uniformed officer, these are “wounds by a knife, in the context that must be elucidated, according to the expertise and proceedings of the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police (PDI), in accordance with the instruction of the Ministry Público”, he added.

Meanwhile, Prefect Christian Hernández, surrogate chief of the Talca Provincial Prefecture of the PDI, maintained that “I arrived at the scene of the events to support the proceedings. So far we have made significant progress, we have managed to locate witnesses; we are doing the registration and gathering of evidence in the place”.
“The idea is to be able to promptly obtain the arrest warrant for the perpetrator(s) and achieve their capture, to bring peace of mind to the community and citizens of Talca”, added the Prefect.
With this homicide, there are already six crimes of these characteristics in the city of Talca in the last month.
Let’s remember that a week ago a 36-year-old man died while being transferred in a Carabineros car to a health center in Talca after being beaten by people who accused him of burglarizing a house and specified, presumably, a citizen detention.
