The mayor of Santo Domingo Este, Manuel Jiménez, presented the national business community the strategic projects executed by the City Council, which will contribute to the development and benefit of all citizens.
During a lunch offered to representatives of prominent national and local companies, Jiménez cited development plans and advances experienced by the municipality, which he understands generate trust for local investment with the execution of initiatives of great value and impact for this demarcation.
Among these projects, he cited the Cultural Tourist Route, Chencha: Open Space, Minimarket Circuit, renovation of the Cachón de la Rubia Ecotourism Park, Ecological Park and Biomuseum, the Route of the Murals, the Municipal Luthería School and the project of Sculpture and National Identity.
These projects, said the representative of the City Council, allow the image of the city to be strengthened and open the opportunity for companies to cultivate and expand their intangible assets in their relationship with the City Council.

“ Building a city is not done only with the central or local government, but with the articulation of all sectors. We are going to begin to give value to all those things that belong to us,” said the mayor, citing the case of the historic La Ermita church, considered the oldest in the West, and which is located in East Santo Domingo.
