Since its release in 2019, Mortal Kombat 11 has enjoyed several post-launch content, with NetherRealm Studios supporting the game with additional fighters, a story expansion with Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, and of course, the release of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, but now, after more than two years of post-launch support, it looks like the brutal fighting game is ready for retirement.
NetherRealm recently stated on Twitter via the official Mortal Kombat page that support for Mortal Kombat 11, including DLC and new characters, has ended. The reason? You can easily guess: NetherRealm Studios is now fully focused on its next project.
