What is Netflix Sex / Life about?
Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi), is a married woman with children who longs for the days of her youth free and without responsibilities in Manhattan. She begins to write a diary about her love exploits with her ex boyfriend, Brad (Adam Demos) to remember your past.However, when her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) find the book, their relationship will go through several ups and downs. In the interview, the writer mentioned that 44 chapters on 4 men is a whirlwind tour through the four couples he had and which are divided into “A tattoo artist turned American marine, a rebel from a motorcycle club, a boy-faced punk rocker and a heavy metal bassist.”
While the concepts are similar, the book departs from the Netflix series in one important way: Easton never joined one of his exes, as Billie does on the show. Still, for Easton, who was not on the show, the change makes sense.
“It is the same background of the book. Is there anything better? Does it get better than this? Billie, the protagonist,is exploring that question. Nothing is 100% perfect in a long-term relationship. Love is there, there is a way to find how to get back to it, “he explained.
