A sexagenarian was rescued, after the crash of his ULM, Tuesday afternoon, at Nîmes-Courbessac aerodrome, near Nîmes (Gard). The accident happened, for a still unknown reason, while the craft he was piloting was in the landing phase.
The victim, aged 63 , was polytraumatized. It has been taken care of by the firefighters, and transported, in serious condition, to the CHU of Nîmes. An important site security device has been implemented. put in place to allow the operation, in order to avoid any risk of the microlight igniting, linked to the to the fuel leak.
