Since the end of the month of march, prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle have them put their suitcases in Los Angeles. The two lovebirds, their son Archie, and their two dogs are staying in a huge villa owned by the american actor Tyler Perry, a close friend of the host Oprah Winfrey. In order to protect themselves and to ensure their safety, the couple is offered the services ofa firm of body guards of exception, also initiated by Jeff Bezos and Tom Hanks.
According to the information of the Daily Mail, the father of the family 35 years, and his wife of 38 years, made a call to a “team of personal security”, the cost of which would amount to 7.000 £ the day, which is more than 7.800 euros per day. If one makes the calculations, this is equivalent to more than 2.8 million euros per year. The team that monitors the prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Los Angeles would have been chosen by Gavin de Becker, a man aged 65 years who has created one of the best companies in the protection of the United States. His body guards have received a learning royal and military training.
But who pays the bill ?
In an interview with the Times, Will Geddes, who is a security expert to the stars, said : “I’ve never protected Harry, but I’ve already crossed. The Daily Mail says that it is impossible to know specifically who pays the bill of the bodyguards of the royal couple, but a friend of the couple has recently reported that prince Harry and Meghan Markle would pay for the cost of their protection of their own pocket. According to an anonymous source, the two parents are not “demanding preferential treatment” for their safety, and “have not received”.
