According to scientists, most fish species will disappear completely until 2048, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Apostrophe.
“According to our tests, unless there is a change, then, based on the current situation, the projected emergence of a serious threat to the security of the whole world food, coastal water quality and ecosystem stability, affecting current and future generations”, say scientists-oceanographers and economists in North America.
According to them, if nothing is done, the species that inhabit the sea, for 20 years, will disappear. This happens due to fishing and pollution of the seas, which turned into a huge dump.
The opposite effect is also quite real, as any that restored normal levels of reproduction, improves health and stability of the oceans and enhances their ability to withstand such attacks, like pollution and global warming.
“These data also show that until it was too late, the current trend is still possible to stop”, — scientists say.
It is noted that at the moment, marine areas which are protected, are less than 1% of the seas and oceans of the world.
