In a few days, the new series of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, a mini-production in four episodes of about 25 minutes that will take you once again to experience (and this time only to see without playing) the events related to Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Obviously the series is positioned in a certain historical period within the timeline of the saga, and now we will explain exactly where.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is set in 2006, exactly after Resident Evil 4 and before Resident Evil 5. The events see as protagonists Leon S. Kennedy, already known in Resident Evil 2 like the policeman on his first day at work, and Claire Redfield, sister of the famous Chris Redfield, who came to Raccoon City to look for him.
Leon is also the protagonist of Resident Evil 4, in which he will have to reach a village in Spain to save the kidnapped daughter of President of the United States of America, the same one that we will see appear in this in this mini series. In contrast, Claire Redfield does not appear in either Resident Evil 4, nor in the 5.
Leon himself is not present in Resident Evil 5 (where players will be able to experience the adventure using Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar), but probably the series launches some connections to the events which will then lead the whole group (excluding Claire) into the epic of Resident Evil 6.
