Willi Castro and Akil Baddoo scored on third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes’ two-out error during Detroit’s three-run rally at the fifth inning, and the Tigers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 Wednesday in the first game of a doubleheader.
The Tigers gave up just three hits but scored three unearned runs on the way to his second victories in nine games.
