The National Police at Motril Port have arrested ten Moroccan stoways on an FRS ferry operating between Motril and Melilla.
At least seven of them appear to be minors, which is something that osemetric tests will confirm or not.
The police have confirmed that once the stowaways had been given a medical examination – all were deemed healthy – they were taken to the Temporary Attention Center for Foreigners, which is located within the port.
It is not clear from the press release whether the immigrants were detected by the officers amongst the passengers as they disembarked or whether they were found still onboard by the crew.
