The girl from Detroit (Michigan), my parents complained of a headache a month ago, died from complications related to the coronavirus. At the time of death of 5-year-old Skylar Herbert for two weeks was connected to the ventilator.
Skylar is the daughter of emergency workers from Detroit — was diagnosed COVID-19 in March. Due to potentially fatal infections in girls developed a rare form of meningitis and brain swelling, making recovery almost impossible.
According to his family, first at Skylar was not observed any symptoms of the coronavirus: the girl complained solely of a headache. On 23 March, the parents took her to see a doctor, who diagnosed baby strep pharyngitis and sent home, prescribing antibiotics, but her condition only continued to deteriorate.
