Agustín Lara was one of the most important composers in Mexico, it is known that his inspiration arose from women, since he would have had at least four wives and he composed a dozen songs for all of them, but due to his busy love life, on many occasions He made his lovers think that he was married to them, when he only he set up their weddings.
Official records indicate that Agustín Lara was civilly married to three women throughout his life. The first was Esther Rivas Elorriaga , who had to prove that she was his wife by law and by the Church since he always denied it ; The second whose union documents have been exposed was María Félix; the third and last was his adoptive daughter, Rocío Durán , who first married civilly in Mexico and in Spain Francisco Franco organized the religious union for them.

Agustín bought her an expensive wedding dress to the dancer and, instead of going to a church to plan their wedding ceremony, she hired different people to perform her wedding, according to Yiyi uncovered.
