Thanks to the recent success of The Suicide Squad, James Gunn is giving something to talk about thanks to his interesting adaptation of this team of villains. Of course, fans can’t help but wonder: What’s next for the franchise? Its director is not closed to the idea of confronting them against the League of Justice, however, you need to do some good research first.
Talking with CNA, Gunn revealed that the idea of making a movie where the Suicide Squad is facing Superman and company does not seem like such a bad idea, however, he is not quite sure how things are inside DC and Warner:
“But first, I would have to find out who they are, because I have no idea. I’m here in the middle of DC and people always ask me if Henry Cavill is still Superman. I don’t know who Superman is, who knows? ‘”

Like Gunn, fans are also not sure what the current status of Henry cavill inside of the DCEU. Nobody is one hundred percent sure that the British actor continues to give life to the Man of Steel in this cinematic universe, and with a reboot on the way by Ta-Nehisi Coates, it seems that the future of Cavill in this role it is somewhat uncertain.
