The Concacaf Champions League will resume this week with the semifinal matches: Monterrey against Cruz Azul and America against Philadelphia Union. This Thursday, August 12. Las Águilas will welcome The U in the vicinity of the Azteca Stadium. On paper, the group led by Santiago Solari seems like a wide favorite. However, MLS clubs tend to congest Mexicans and this will not be the exception.
Philadelphia is currently in fourth place in the MLS Eastern Conference. The team led by Jim Curtin will seek to take the first step to the Concachampions final and for that they need to get a good result at the Colossus of Santa Úrsula before playing the final duel at Gillette Stadium.
