Almost a month after it fell apart a clandestine workshop where weapons were modified and drugs were sold in Lota, the owner of the property was arrested. He had five outstanding warrants for his arrest.
The Investigative Police arrested the owner of a clandestine workshop where firearms were modified and drugs were sold in Lota, in the Bío Bío region.
It was on November 24 that the workshop was disrupted in the Polvorín sector, however, the owner of the facility was not intercepted.
It was this week that he was finally able to meet the person responsible for the property, who was arrested in the same town.

At the time of his capture, the man was carrying a 9-millimeter pistol of Argentine origin, suitable for shooting. Drugs were also found in small quantities, two digital scales, a bulletproof vest and ammunition, explained the head of the aforementioned unit, sub-prefect, Yuri Méndez.
The crimes typified by the civil police in the context of his arrest are illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition and chemical substances and violation of the 20,000 law on drugs.
The detainee, identified by his initials M.E.G.S. 27 years old, he had five pending arrest warrants for the crimes of burglary, simple threats, less serious injuries, frustrated homicide and damages.
In addition, he has a record for homicide and micro-trafficking, registered in 2015 and 2020, respectively.
After the formalization hearing, the man was left with the precautionary measure of preventive detention.
