Two little sisters of Canale d’Agordo (Belluno) wrote a letter of condolence to Queen Elizabeth for the disappearance of Prince Philip and the British sovereign has replied.
Elisa and Sofia, of 7 and 4 years, yes. I am passionate of the British royal family thanks to a Cartoon. “They have a long-lasting love for the Queen – explains mother Inna Maslovska al Courier of the Veneto – they are so small and naive that when Prince Philip died they said to me: ‘Mom we absolutely have to write to her, poor thing‘”. And so they did. “They wrote to her that they were sorry and that they would pray for her – explains the mother of the two little sisters – after finishing the drawings and having translated the text into English they put theBuckingham Palace address, we went together as far as the post office, in the letterbox and they sent it. They were excited and happy to have made this gesture ”.
They never expected to receive an answer from His Majesty. And instead Queen Elizabeth, after three months, wrote to the two little sisters of Belluno: “I send you my sincere thanks for your kind words of closeness“, We read in the royal letter. “They were beside themselves with joy – explained the mother – there was the seal of the crown, they couldn’t believe it. It was a beautiful gesture on the part of the English Crown and I can say that it made my little princesses happy ”.
