When Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon ball, gave the reins of the series to Toyotaro, many of us believed that this was only going to have repercussions in the future of the manga. However, since the Moro arc, we have seen how this mangaka has changed some details that already seemed stable. In this way, it was recently revealed that Nameks, the race to which Piccolo belongs, did not originally come from the planet Namek.
In a recent episode of Dragon ball super, Monaito’s character confessed to Granolah that, originally, the Namekians come from the Cereal Planet, where the antagonist in turn is also a native. But nevertheless Piccolo’s race eventually moved to a world they christened Namek.. Even Toriyama was surprised by this change, and this is what he commented:
“Who would have thought that the Nameks were never actually a race born on Planet Namek? I mean, I definitely can’t make such an important decision. That came from Toriyama. “
