Legal euthanasia, the young people of InOltre: “Take a PD stand!”
We receive and publish the press release from the InOltre -Alternativa Progressista association, in favor of the referendum on legal euthanasia, which in these hours has reached the necessary 500 thousand signatures.
Reached 500,000 signatures for a battle of civilizations. Still no sign of support from the Nazarene, a thorny issue that needs to be addressed. We ask as soon as possible that the Democratic Party and the Secretary Enrico Letta break their silence on the issue and start a discussion on the subject in order to take a clear and clear position in favor of this referendum campaign. We will continue to sign and get signed.
The largest party of the center-left cannot leave alone the associations, the promoting committee and the citizens who are pursuing this cause. An extraordinary leadership of the Democratic Party and the democratic agora should resolve this knot as soon as possible. Many girls and boys of our associations these days are at the stalls to sign and get signed.
In the meantime, the Vatican says something and continues its interventions and temporal interference on national domestic politics, arguing that Euthanasia is a “dangerous conception” rather than devoting itself to the spiritual side. Euthanasia is freedom of choice for those who suffer. We must choose whether to advance on ethical issues or to numb the country in its obscurantism.
