“Due to the incident, the Green Park station was closed, but will soon be reopened. The victim is being treated at the hospital. None of the officers were injured, the weapons were confiscated, ”wrote Laurie.
According to information Daily mail, the call for the injury to a man on the train came in on Friday evening. An eyewitness described an “extremely terrifying” moment when he saw a man who attacked a subway passenger with a “machete a foot long [около 30 см — Ред.]”.
Police said a man was detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Green Park Station is located on the edge of one of Westminster’s royal parks and has exits to Piccadilly Circus, one of the busiest streets in historic London.
On July 6, it was reported that a man armed with a knife attacked people at the airport in the German city of Dusseldorf. One person was injured in the attack. The incident took place in the departure area. The victim was hospitalized. The attacker fled the scene of the attack, nothing is known about his motives.
