The Monaco Auto Show will be the scene, among other things, of the debut of the new one Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric, the battery-powered crossover that will inaugurate the new course of the French car manufacturer, bringing to the debut the platform developed by the Alliance and a series of technology resulting from the Renaulution of Luca de Meo. The new model will also feature the two-dimensional logo, a sign that this electric-powered car represents a very important watershed for Losanga. A few days from the IAA Mobility road tests continue for the new Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric which will be shown in its final form at the Bavarian event.
Waiting to see it live, what do we know about the new electric of the French brand? In reality, the official information released by Losanga, which produced the 30 prototypes spotted on the road in the factory in Douai, in France, is already different. Based on the CMF-EV platform, the all-new Mégane E-Tech Electric is equipped with a 160 kW (217 hp) electric motor and a 60 kWh battery pack that allows a range of up to 450 km of WLTP. The new battery-powered proposal of the E-Tech range, also known with Megan-e, first of all brings with it the new logo of the French car manufacturer, the two-dimensional Losanga unveiled during the presentation of the Renaulution relaunch plan.
Thanks to the images of the prototypes and the concept car released by Renault, it was possible to get an idea of the shapes that the new full electric Megane should have. Also on the front you can see the thin optical groups, with the now usual C-Shape appearance that identifies all the latest models of the transalpine range. Above the right wheel arch we find the charging flap, with the profile of the front and rear ones that has a plastic frame that visually accentuates the greater height from the ground and the true SUV character of the new Megane. The shapes are sleek and sinuous, with few ribs, visible only on the bonnet and sides. Here we can see how the designers have opted for rear handles integrated into the upright. At the rear the LED light strip runs full width, interrupted only by the logo on the bodywork, just below the small rear window, set between the spoiler and the two more pronounced finlets than usual.
