A request for a ruling on the legality of the ordinance of the municipality of Zapallar , which intends to restrict the circulation of minors during the night, made the councilor of the commune, Carolina Letelier to the Comptroller’s Office. The mayor was willing to modify the measure.
The councilor of the Zapallar commune, Carolina Letelier, asked the Comptroller General of the Republic to rule on the legality of the ordinance that seeks to restrict the movement of minors at night .
Once the measure enters into force, parents or guardians of minors under 16 years of age will be fined who are caught in the street at dawn.
In an interview with Radio Bío Bío of Valparaíso, the mayor pointed out that she abstained from voting on said ordinance because she did not have all the background information that was needed to make it informed.
