This is what GloboEsporte warns when reporting that the intention of “Mengao” is to bring back Gerson, a Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for Olympique de Marseille by Alexis Sánchez.
The publication warns that in order for Flamengo to get the 25-year-old footballer back, it will have to make “the largest purchase in the history of the club, which would be around 20 million euros”. They also assure that “negotiations are progressing well and the parties are optimistic about the settlement.”
Gerson left the Brazilian club in the 2021 season as an idol after having won a Copa Libertadores, a Recopa, two-time Super Cup champion, two-time Carioca champion and two-time Brazilian champion.
